2012 Anything but Close to Average....
The Quad Cities National Weather Service released the 2012 Climate Report. Its preliminary, but here's what it looks like so far. The average temperature at the Davenport airport was 52.8° while in Moline the average temp was 53.6°. Both were about 3° above average for the year.
As far as precipitation goes both Davenport and Moline were below average. But, Moline was almost 11" below normal compared to Davenport, which was more than 5.5" below the average.
