Foggy Forecast

It was a slow travel morning across the Mississippi and Illinois Valleys Tuesday morning with visibilities at one-quarter of a mile or less for several hours.

This prompted a "Dense Fog Advisory" for much of eastern Iowa and northwestern Illinois.

By mid-morning, visibilities were starting to improve slowly where you could, at least, see the Mississippi River from our SkyCam.

Warmer temperatures, with highs in the 50s, are forecast for today and early Wednesday before the Arctic cold air arrives for the rest of the week and the weekend.

We could be dealing with fog again Tuesday night and Wednesday morning!
