Snowflakes Have 6 Sides

Here's the answer to today's Weather Trivia question on CBS4 News at 5pm...while it's clearly impossible to examine all snowflakes we can safely say they all have 6 sides...why?  It has to do with the bonds that are holding the molecules together...
