Here's a hi-res satellite view of the Midwest today, notice around the Quad Cities we've been in and out of the clouds for most of the day so far...

With the latest surge of sunshine this afternoon temps have warmed considerably and as of 4pm we are sitting at 59°, which is finally back up above normal.  some places that have seen even more sunshine, like Galesburg and Muscatine, are sitting in the 60s this afternoon!
