Raining Animals?

We know it rain's rain and snow's snow, it even sleet's sleet, but does it ever rain cats and dogs? The answer is no to the house pets, but some other animals may been seen falling from the sky. Reports of frogs, fish and even worms falling from the sky have come in across the globe. Fish falling from the sky have been reported 4 times in the last 3 years in Australia, the Philippines, and India. Frogs and worms have also been reported in recent years but the incidents are not widespread or very common. It is thought that the small animals are picked up in strong winds or tornadoes and after being suspended in the air for a few minutes they return to earth. Some frogs have been seen frozen in ice as they were potentially stuck in a strong updraft allowing them to mix in with large hail. Its an odd part of the weather, but of you ever happen upon an animal falling from the sky feel free to take a pic and send it to us!
