Small but Potent T-Storm

The thunderstorms don't look too impressive on radar but they have caused some problems tonight, especially just south of the QC...wind gusts to 50 mph have been common with a few gusts up to 70 mph! Automated sites at he QC Int'l Airport measured winds of about 50 mph and 70 mph! The storms are fading a bit but still have the potential to cause some problems. At last check there are about 6,000 people without power as of 11:20 pm, and we've heard several reports on the scanners of trees and/or power lines down in Rock Island County.
