What a week of weather it has been in the Quad Cities. It started Monday morning when the thermometer dipped down to -10° with wind chills approaching -40° to -50° across the area! Temperatures began warming on Tuesday and by Thursday we saw a system bring .20" of snow. On Friday a stronger area of low pressure brought rain to the area. With the ground still being so cold, that created some very slick roadways. With the rain falling on a snow covered ground, there was a lot of moisture in the air so there was also very dense fog across the area.
Rounding out the end of the week and weekend were temperatures near 40° on Friday and Saturday, with upper 40s to near 50° in many areas Sunday.
Check out the lows & highs for the last 7 days:
There will also be some ups and downs in the temperatures this coming week, but nothing
