A weak front is going to roll through later Sunday, bringing increasing clouds and a very slight chance for a few sprinkles or snow flurries north of the Quad Cities late Sunday night and early Monday morning. Ahead of the front Sunday, we'll have breezy southerly winds of 10-20 mph, with gusts 25-30 mph. So, there may be a bit of a wind chill making that 43° feel a little cooler. This front doesn't have much impact with it, and will cool temperatures about 10° on Monday. A clipper system brings a chance of snow late Monday night & Tuesday, and behind that will be colder air, this time only in the lower 20s. Stay tuned to the forecast for more details on the snow. Accumulations at this time appear to be light.
Looking ahead, I don't see any indication of a real big warm up or cool down. I also don't see many chances for precipitation. Beside Monday night & Tuesday, there is a slight chance to see light snow (mainly northern hometowns) Wednesday night & Thursday as a very strong disturbance moves to our north. We'll keep you updated!
