We're still looking at very cold weather over the next few days, and some snow by the end of the weekend! Models continue to show differing amounts of snow for us on Sunday - in most cases differing from model to model and also importantly, differing from model run to model run. for instance, here are 2 NAM runs from today, showing different amounts of snow for the Quad Cities by the end of the weekend. This is why it's best to wait another 12/24 hours before putting out an official snow forecast for this weekend. I do feel comfortable saying that right now it looks like the Quad cities could see between 1-3 inches of snow on Sunday...
