Snow Update for Monday...
A low pressure system is going to begin moving into the Quad Cities late Sunday night into Monday. The center of the system is going to pass to our South, through parts of Missouri.
This means the Quad Cities is going to just get clipped by the Northern most part of the low pressure system. So we will see some light snow on Monday! The heavier snow will stay to our South.
Right now, I'm forecasting areas to the North of Highway 30 to pick up around an 1". So neighborhoods like Clinton, Galena, Savanna, Maquoketa, and Sterling will see lighter amounts.
Neighborhoods around the Quad Cities including Geneseo, Iowa City, Princeton, IL, and Muscatine will pick up 1-2".
Areas further South of the QCA will get 2-3" of snow. That includes Galesburg, Burlington, and Kewannee.
This could change a bit before Monday comes around so keep checking back for more weather updates!
