The first (of many) round of showers and t-storms is approaching the QC this afternoon. Shortly after 2pm the rain is just West of the Quad Cities and will be pushing through the metro area over the next few hours. While there could be a few rumblings of thunder the biggest problem we'll have this afternoon comes from some heavy rain at times. Right now from the QC toward Galesburg we're looking at .50" of rain, with some places picking up closer to an inch of rain this afternoon/evening.
