Severe Storms Continue on the East Coast

The Storm Prediction Center has issued another moderate risk for the East coast of North Carolina, and a slight risk stretching from Virginia to the Georgia/South Carolina boarder.  Due to current cloud cover and high sheer values these storms are not expected to be as strong as the ones along the gulf coast on Christmas.  However storms that are produced will move at a quick pace and the possibility for some bowing within the storm creates the chance for straight line wind damage and tornadoes.  The risk for severe weather will diminish through the evening and overnight hours today.  For detailed on the forecast for your area, click Here and type in your zip code or City, State.
