Weather Advisories in effect for Counties around the QC...
The first advisories are for Knox and Stark Counties in Illinois. Both Counties shaded in orange are under a Fire Weather Watch from Monday afternoon into Monday evening.
A Fire Weather Watch means with low humidity levels and strong winds out of the West, Northwest from 20-25 mph and gusts as high as 35 mph, any open flames could spread quickly. So burning is discouraged Monday afternoon into Monday night.
The National Weather Service has also issued a Freeze Watch for the counties colored in light blue from late Monday night into Tuesday morning.
There's a chance for temperatures to drop to near freezing or below, so you'll want to be sure to cover any of your sensitive plants tomorrow night or bring them indoors.
