The Quad Cities National Weather Service has issued a Dense Fog Advisory until 10am (CST). After some late night rain, the moisture stuck around, allowing for temperatures to be at the dew point. With the dew point and temperature being the same, a cloud forms at the ground, this cloud at ground level is given the name fog. The fog looks to clear by mid-day and we may even get a glimpse of the sun this afternoon. The image below is of our skycam from 6:45am and the advisory graphic is above.
