It's not often the SPC issues a 'High Risk' for severe weather. It happens on average about 3 or 4 times a year...but today is one of those days! A High Risk for severe weather is in place from Texas to Tennessee and strong, long-tracked tornadoes are likely. Things will go downhill quickly late this afternoon and the stormy weather will last through the overnight hours...
